i should get my new scooter today... 54B... I'm concerned about this battery drain from the remote/alarm.. id like to put a toggle switch in to activate it.. de activate it... has anyone done this?.. is it do-able?

You can not put a Toggle on the Alarm itself.

However, you could put a toggle on your main positive wire running to the battery...

I would like to add however, it would pointless as the alarm itself comes with a "Kill switch"... If you're worried about the alarm draining the battery, just disarm it. When it's disarmed, it draws NO power. One of my scooters have an alarm and I've owned it since spring and I haven't had any issues with the alarm draining the battery.

IN fact, I personally like these alarms so much, I just ordered a new one an installed it on one of my other scooters. Here's a video showing the install

If it was me I would remove the alar completely and put it in the garbage can

i will look for the kill switch.. that would work.. still waiting on dealer to let me know my scooter is set up and ready

cyborg.. i was expecting it today.. dealer said delivery today.. earlier.. but has not responded to messages .. maybe tomorrow.. id like to be riding again
