Thanks! So the one in the middle is for the Evap? And what about the broken piece on the right? Thanks.

Thanks! So the one in the middle is for the Evap? And what about the broken piece on the right? Thanks. I'm not sure Cyborg called it correctly on this one... Your valve cover vent goes to the one next to the one that's broke off... The broken one I believe is just an air vent. Your other one ties into your vacuum lines. I can double check, I have a few of these out in the shop.

#1 is for your EVAP SYSTEM(from Gas Tank Canister), #2 is for the Valve Cover Vent Inside you should have a small foam filter, #3 is the drain for the Oil collected from the Valve Cover Vent. See the HOSE WITH THE OIL IN IT that is #3.

Thanks Alley, so if I deleted the EVAP system, I'll plug hole #1 correct? Valve hose goes to #2 which I'm assuming is an air/oil separator. #3 though broke off for me, should I just leave it open or make a new piece to put the hose on?

Yes if you take the EVAP system off PLUG #1. I would also Plug #2 and #3 up. Take the Valve Cover Vent and Put a Fuel Filter on the end of it and ZIP TIE IT HIGHER than the Valve Cover. That way if it squirts out oil it will drain back into the valve cover. This way you have less possible things that can go wrong on you. Alleyoop

I tried putting a fuel filter on the valve vent hose, after going about a 1/4 to 1/2 a mile my scoot shut down twice. I removed the filter and it has been running fine. My problem is, it seems there is some oil that is getting through the hose. As soon as my air filter and carb come I'm getting rid of the air box, so I can't reconnect it to the box. Any suggestions?

SAY WHAT!! is the fuel filter getting clogged with OIL? Is the Hose zipped tied HIGH higher than the Valve cover WITH NO KINKS, remember it has to VENT. So take the Fuel filter off and zip tie it high so if it squirts oil into the hose it will drain back down. Alleyoop

I'm gonna have to get the taste of crow out my mouth on this one. You were right on this one Alley, your instructions on the valve vent hose were correct. After installing some new parts I took it out for a test and it died again, so the next day, after work I did some troubleshooting. I got it running and let it idle for 5-10 minutes, then checked my fuel filter, next I sprayed down vac hoses with carb cleaner checking for leaks. I was about to start looking at electrical connections when my brother in law touched one side of my coil feed wires and it almost died, Eureka! One of the connections was really loose causing it to jar loose from vibrations and give me a bad connection. It's running good for now, still need to tweak the new carb, I'm having a backfire issue, but I did reinstall the fuel filter on the valve vent hose and no issues, Thanks.
