Had loose spark plug boot that would come off, sometimes it would pop off while riding. Well it did that yesterday on the frwy. However this time it would not start. The clamp w clip inside the boot that attaches to the spark plug end,no longer holds and shape has been distorted. Cant find screw on boots anywhere, and no time to order.i have an old tao tao atv that i tool the boot off and screwed on,and it still doesnt work. The engine is trying to crank and the starting mechanisms sound pretty strong. I am positive this is a Sparkplug issue or atleast the result of a Sparkplug issue. The plug itself never came out if that helps

Well check for spark, Take the plug out and stick it in the boot and ground it to the motor and crank it and see if it is firing. Alleyoop

Well if it sparks then it may be lack of fuel, crank it and pull the plug out and see if it is wet or dry that will tell you lack of fuel or to much fuel and or plug not firing while in the motor.
What if anything did you do or add or take off before this started to happen? Alleyoop
