Made a giant mistake and accidentally brushed up on the exhaust. Needless to say the mofo was hot. Burning flesh does not smell nice.

This happened yesterday. It's still a wee bit tender.

So, was the scooter hot from running, or just from sitting in the Phoenix sun? Actually, if you ride long enough, at some point, you will most likely get a scar or two from a burn. My lasting one is on the inner left wrist from my KZ750 30 years ago. Don't remember why I thought I had to reach in between the exhaust pipes. Good healing to you..

Scooter had been running. It's my first pipe burn. Sucks. I've been keeping it wrapped during the day. I do masonry and I'm baking in the Phoenix sun all day. I'm on lunch right now. It's 9:30 and already 102 degrees. Love it.
