Hi all

I wonder if anyone can help at all.

I have a 60 plate V Clic that I rode for 3 years, no issues.

I then left the bike covered outside for 3 years without starting it (I know !).

A couple months ago I got it started again with new petrol, oil, fuel filter, battery, spark plug.

The bike was running fine, maxing at 29mph on flat, but i remembered this was the max when I used to ride it.

Slowly it has been losing speed.

Now it is maxing at 22mph/23mph, even downhill. It is pulling well and going 20-22mph even up steep hills so dont think is a power thing ? When I'm going down a steep hill and open the throttle fully the bike splutters slightly and doesn't like it unless I ease off throttle again.

Its almost like there is only any decent power/acceleration for the first third to half of the throttle turn and nothing extra in the last half if that makes sense??!

inspect the variator weights and exhaust pipe

I'd be looking at the air filter and the driveline also,,tire pressure,,everything

Can you advise what exactly I should look for in the exhaust/variator weights/air filter please ?
