Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself real quick. I just recently picked up a BMS Palazzo 150 and have been trying to get it up and running. It was a KSL (Utahs version of like craigslist) find for $200. Been having a ton of fun learning about the GY6 motor and how to work on it.
In case anyone is wondering where I am at on it at the moment:
It will not start, so I have done the following:
1. Replaced battery
2. Checked fuel petcock for proper operation
3. Replaced spark plug and tested for spark
4. Checked fuel is getting from carb to plug
5. Checked compression, was WAY low
6. Adjusted valve lash
7 Retested compression... no change
Now I am going to double check my valve lash and ensure they didnt get too tight or loosen, then I am going to test for bad rings by adding a little oil in the spark plug well and test compression again.
