Question WHY do you want to block the ENRICHER? That only feeds fuel for cold starts. Do it right, if you want to control when you want or not want extra fuel put in a MANUAL one. Then if you ever get a new carb just take the ENRICHER off and slap in the manual, two little screws.

I know the JB weld is cheaper but the other way is the right way

plus, nobody uses jb wled anymore because its too thin an difficult to mold and takes time to harden.

JB Weld Quik hardens in minutes and JB Weld also makes an epoxy putty like Quik Steel. These are things you know when you own a Chinese scooter and miss when you trailer your scooter. Not to mention the exciting uses for Crazy Glue. LOL

Yeah fill up with jb weld and put a piece of cardboard on top for flat surface. I am not exactly sure why you would want to do this I heard it is the enricher in some ones post which means it gives gas to engine when cold. I would think about not doing that due to this is how the carb is designed but I could be wrong. Sorry I don't understand why you would do that it is beyond me?

he is in florida so probably not needed most times but there may be that one time that he'll need it and he wont have it. not a good idea IMO but its up to him. maybe concerned with it malfunctioning and staying open. using more gas when cold? if he ever sells it, the person that buys it will be going wtf

Mabye plugging it with a piece of wine cork might work and also would be able to remove it if it didn't work and wouldn't destroy the part if it don't work right. This one has me confused trying to come up with some creative ideas that's all/ good luck though.
