I want to fix my own scoot and I need someone technical enough to guide me to and through the successful full repair of my scoot. Using the aid of photo video and forum/messages. I have a basic background in mechnical trade. If your available let me know in the repy or private message. Please search my prior posts in this Folder to gain an introduction to the scoot issue. In addition and as an update to those posts. The issue and update is I have replaced the r/r (rectifier/regulator) and it initially got more power and in a coupla days after replacing that part the scoot began to lose power especially going up hill. so i tried adjusting the fuel ratio (couldnt find it) adjusted the idle screw (following 2T carb instructions from this forum) and of course during this the hose snapped off from the airfilter to the carbuerator (ibelieve it is) and now yes faster because idling higher.llll very high idle, very high gas usage, ando batt drain fast batt drain during 20 mile trip (which is usually no problem). light completely out by the time i was home. So i put the idle screw to orig setting or just above cut off, and road tested and quick batt drain still. chrgd batt, checked fuse. fuse cap off an end. readjusted,... after batt chrg started right up.. adjusted again to just above where nice idle w/o shut off. and road test again... batt drain, lights out. idle reduced.

This Just In...so I've been getting This thing tetest AutoZone pretty regularly apparently with the alarm on or with the alarm off this thing is pretty much dying down every two days. we tested the voltage while the battery was on the bike in a while the bike was running no charge was coming to the battery the AutoZone representative suggested it may be whatever feeds into the battery whatever is supposed to keep the battery charged I understand this to be the stator are we in agreement? and if not what other possibilities might there be? I just need to know what parts to purchase and what to start Un screwing so I can take care of this business I want to get on the road again guys by the way happy Friday and thanks for all of your help

www.dropbox.com/sc/y2tv407vaa6hlgf/AAA4hGYuqayzwCeA7nQJUoIcaok so this is the random cord emerging from where the pos and neg batt cable do. its a 2 pin connector just hanging would this run the horn in the case where you remove the alarm becaus that is the only other loose 2 pin i see. could this be the batt drain cause?

yea. Guitarman I hear ya' my final straw was i got on the bus... and it was raining INSIDE the bus in Phoenix arizona. I thought that was just damn disrespectful. Its bad enough your bus stops are filfthy and nasty and you obviously never clean the insides of the buses of "some" neighborhoods. But to RAIN inside the Bus???. Disrespectful.
Ok Back to scooter news: So i feel i should give some background about my bike. yes i just purchased it...but it was used. it has ALOT of cosmetic needs and it wasnt very expensive (depending on your idea of a dollar) however i did not know it had and aparently equal amount of mechanical needs. Because it was used... There is no manual... and though there is an alarm. it is inoperable...useless. it has NO key fob and does not work.
Okey dokey and its dusty. it only had like 1500 miles when i purchased it. So here goes guys......dun-dun-dun DUNNNNN... The pics of what i now refer to as "Zombie Scooter"
so i have questions about the pics so well label them 1 and various succession so ill reference the number in regards to the the questions. cool?
hmm looks like they wont post... ill try again when i get home.... check back later please

OK in the grand scope of diagnosis or diagnosing I have tried running it with the security system on in this drain the battery
I try running it with the security system disconnected and just briefly touching the contacts enough to get it to turn off once I have arrived to my destination and this is draining the battery what the heck is draining the battery?? I'm perplexed and I'm wondering if I just get a new security system that would plug up hopefully that will plug up in the same manner will this resolve the issue or will the battery still be draining from something else any ideas?

breaking news: currently the scooter is at my job and I am headed home it wouldn't start up after getting me all the way to work the battery seem to be drained no lights or anything but I think its this time something idiotic that I did on my part so back to Autozone for a charge,..More Newa @ 11.

hey guys I noticed something on the link of the eBay alarm bypass and that is that the connector inside of the connection is male connectors (of the bypass alarm on eBay). but the connectors emanating from the bike /scooter Are male also, so...would I need a different harness bypass that has female connectors or am I actually taking the wires from my harness/the harness of my bike and attaching this new adapter to it and plugging it into the security system???not clear on this? kind of confusing??
also in regards to jumping the connections as earlier mentioned exactly which wire configuration am I looking for considering I don't have any of the above mentioned I did leave a list of the kind of wires or the color wires that are available.
