That was my yesterday
Previously I had my exhaust header pipe off for welding. Replaced and guestimated 20 ft lbs. While underneath the scoot working on the shifter linkage, i noticed the nuts were loose. Tightened em up, and the blow by was gone. Question: would blue locktite be of any help? (re: heat)
The scoot got stuck in reverse. Had to dissemble the shaft clamp, linkage from gearshift to all that crap underneath, get everything realigned, put trans shaft in fwd, and put back together and tightened back up.
Then off for a test ride, and shure nuf, downpour, monsoon, storm, thunder and lightening. I was worried about the electric connections, but, not even a sputter or flicker.
Yea, so even my scoot needs the occasional wrench. Mechanical I can do, but when electrical happens, I'm an idiot.
Today, had surgery on my stump, removed some bone, so gonna be a day or two before I get back out there and scare the kids.
