trying to find out what kind of motor is in my scooter. when I ordered it was called a mcr122-250. when I got it it was called a Roar250 39c. The piston cylinder pretty much is parallel to the ground, 13" wheels, f/r disc brakes, the plate on the right side by engine says "zn250T-39c". I have posted on another forum and was told by the administater that it was a 149cc engine, I think he thought it was a Honda clone. I know I bought it as a 250. I can get up to 70mph and I'm just shy of 300#, I don't know if that is normal or not for a 150, I'm brand new to this

To be certain if its a 150 or 250 take a picture by the muffler that will show what type of motor it has on it then we can tell what motor it has on it. These dealers put on whatever they want on the scoots so just because it says something is not what is in there. Alleyoop

I don't know of any 150cc scooter that can get a 300lb rider up to 70. Alley is right a picture will tell. Most importers lie about spec's, some more than others.

A pic would help a lot. Get under the bike and look at the left front bottom of the engine and see if there is code stamped on it.

A 150 doing 70 with 300 pounds I dought it to. I weight to much just joined a gym yesterday. I weigh 334 said yesterday wow I am out of shape. I have got my scooter doing 55 which surprised me for a 125. Hopefully the gym will put me in better shape with a couple of months of work outs.

That bike comes in a 125, 150, and 250. So without a very detailed verbal description it is problematic to ID. The left side of the engine would have been nice but we'll go with the right. There's two things that make this distinctly a 250, the valve timing inspection port, and the water hose. Also, don't get too excited about what your speedo is saying, it's probably way off, they usually are. Use a GPS to get your MPH. Rich

Is that a coolant hose Alley? I might have ID'd that wrong, I think that may be on the other side. I have the vertical so I'm not that familiar with it. That's a Linhai clone by the way Jethro. Rich
