And my stator puts out 58 volts. The wire from the cdi to ignition coil is the one doing the 30 to nothing.

OK, this is just spit balling, but what if the CDI is building up a charge from the AC feed and then discharging without a trigger just due to overcharge? That could be characteristic of the CDI or the grounding, or the way it's wired in there. Frankly I can't tell what the hell is going on there with all the splicing. I would take all of that wiring out of there and wire in a standard config using a known good CDI. I just can't see anymore of this guessing game, it's not that difficult to scratch wire. If you want help with that let me know.

If i take all the wiring off and just hook up with seperate new wires for the pick up chassis ground stator and ignition coil wires just those certain wires will that work to see if the cdi stator and ignition coil is good that is of course if it will spark right or should it. Just leaving the white and yellow unplugged from the stator and obviously leaving the killswitch unplugged at the cdi

Hmmmmmm...interesting thought. I don't see why that wouldn't work. Hook up the AC power feed to the CDI, hook up the trigger to the CDI, remove the killwire, and hook up the coil feed, and then both grounds on the CDI. If the battery is hot it should start with the start button and key on. You'll have to kill the motor when your done by pulling the trigger wire or something like that because you won't have a kill function.
Here is a test bench I did using the trigger as a kill function so you can see what I mean:
I wouldn't run like that for a long time with the yellow and white not hooked up. The magnets are trying to induce current in the coils whether they are hooked up or not. The electromagnetic field could create some heat in the coils. I don't think just a minute would hurt anything. Rich

essentially I took a ground down the frame to bare metal made a new ground wire and hooked to the cleaned up valve pan then from the chassis ground ran a ground to the cdi and jumped from that wire to the back of the ignition coil so they have the same ground, Then ran the rest accordingly to the CDI that's the only wires hooked up right now I'll try hooking that other ground up and see if there's any difference. still turning will the drill since the starter doesn't work anyway teeth won't cant the flywheel.

hooking the other ground up did nothing.so would have to be a bad cdi I bought I have another ignition coil I can try too before anything else.
