Depending on the bikes weight i like to hover around 100 ponies,,,i think the bmw r1150r that i had with 90hp and 90fp torque was the best all around riding fast bike i've had,,,,if memory serves i think i shaved it to 450-460 wet,,,,

$28K is better than the $35/$40K for a GW or HD, but it appears to lack some creature comforts, which of course can be added. Wonder why it took so long to convert a Rocket to a trike.
But, yes, this is nice, but not a cross country version.

Man, that is your basic overpowered bike/trike/whatever combination. Of course you could pull an awesome trailer with that....like a semi:
Although I love that bike there's two things that kind of rub me the wrong way. One is the radiator. I know...I know...you have to get rid of that heat somehow but there it is, just hanging right off of the front nine miles wide. Second, the seamed tank. Why, on a beautiful creation like the Rocket, would you not roll the seam under so you don't have that irregular seam of metal running around the tank? Go figure, Rich

Oh, but Rich, look at that engine! There aren't many oversize bikes I'd like to try but this is one of them. Twist and Go Maximus.

Oh! Do not get me wrong, I'd swing a leg over that puppy in a heartbeat! We were up in Toledo visiting a couple of years ago and I went to a Triumph dealer to kill some time. They were doing test rides on all of their bikes but they didn't just hand you the keys. As soon as the salesman figured out that I was from out of town he said forget it. And I could live with the radiator and tank seam, they wouldn't be a deal breaker to straddle that engine. Rich
