I was riding my 2008 Peace Sport 50cc scooter home from work yesterday, when I had to stop for traffic. The scooter shut off. At first I thought that I had hit the "kill switch" by accident. So I made sure that everything was set and tried to start it up again. It took about 5 minutes before it started up and I had no other problems getting home (about a 3 mile trip). The next morning I came out to take my scooter to work and the same problem is occurring. The battery keeps trying to turn over and over and over. After about 4 or 5 minutes I just turn everything off and came to work in my car. I just recently had an oil change done on it (about 2 weeks ago). Other than that the scooter was working very well. Any thoughts?

If the gap is off the valve is held open until it cools off and you won't get compression. So about .002" both valves on a 50. Do you know how to do that? Rich
