1. On the bottom of my Keihin carb appears to be two drain barbs. One has the drain hose connected. What is the other one ?? 2. Will brass work for the shim washers on the needle valve ?. Thanks..

I Googled it and it says it's an oil drain tube but I don't have a clue what that means, anybody else heard of this? I believe brass will work. You might shoot Jake a PM, he's pretty versed in Keihins. JAKE PM

Thanks Bashan !!, I sent a PM. I found several pictures of the carb showing the two connections but no explanations other than the drain line..

Usually one is the overflow (has the tube on it) and the other one is the actual bowl drain.
A brass washer will work fine.

Yes, Brass will work just fine if you notice some of the needles are made of brass as well as your enricher. Alleyoop

Sometimes they are like that. One will be blocked/plugged and the other will be a drain screw or tube. A lot of the parts on these carbs are used on different bikes/scoots so they make them where a little change in the mold and they are ready to manufacture for the next bike setup. -Zug
