Lets put some road time on our bikes. I'm going to run into town and see a friend to fix his computer. On the way, I'll stop and take some pix to share with you all. This is the place to share those cool moments that only bike riders get to see. Here is one I took the other day. Sorry, but my phone is not designed to capture the amazing beauty of a Hawaiian sunset. But I'll keep trying.  |

I don't do a lot of long distance riding but if the weather permits I ride every day. Tonight I went to a pig roast 3 towns east and a bit north of that town. Tomorrow I have plans to take it out for 2 separate trips. One I will get back late morning and the other is a fathers day party for a guy who passed away a couple months ago. His kin did not have a funeral and this is the replacement!

GM, I never pictured Hawaii as having power lines and the normal plebian components of everyday life. But why not? you guys like electricity too. Silly me.
That sounds pretty long distance to me John....3 towns?....Good grief. So at the roast, did they give the pig a lot of zingers?! Did they make fun of his heritage? Ha! Wish I could have been there.  Rich

I have to be at work by 4 AM so it's still too dark to take pictures. Maybe later I'll get to ride Rocket into Town. I use the Fashion to commute. The instrument display is cool in the pitch dark of night.

Replaced the broken turn signals today. That's all I could get with the tools I had handy. Still need to do the brakes, but there's enough left for short rides.
I was running in front of a huge rain cloud on the way home and hit a massive cloud of gnats. By massive I mean about 4 miles from end to end. Felt like acid rain on my skin.
