I just bought a tens unit from overstock.com. Shipped to me in 2 days, works great. BUT since I have been deluged with spam. It seems they sent my information to 79 different companies. If you like spam just buy something there.
I never ever click on a spam no matter how bad I want what they are selling or how good a deal. If you do you will be rewarded with a crap load of spam, as all of them pass your address out to other spammers and your name goes on a sucker list. Spamming ought to be a capitol crime.

I don't know what e-mail service you use John but Hotmail has a "junk" button and it immediately blocks that address. Now, admittedly you have to block each address and that's a load, but after doing that a few days I can usually get a handle on it. But yeah, that sucks, we shouldn't have to do that just because you order something. Rich

Yahoo filters 98% of that for me. But I have to look in my spam box to make sure something I actually want doesn't get tossed in there from time to time.

I had hotmail and yahoo a long time ago and then both were real bad with spam. Yahoo was the best so I did keep it but I ended up staying with my providers email address. Yahoo does keep almost all spam out of the inbox today but almost no one has that address so it does not get used much.
I complained to overstock and they did stop the spamming but the way I feel any company that does that to their customers is not worth dealing with. Sending spam relating to their sales is one thing, but giving your address to 3rd parties won't get any of my business. I see very few ads on the internet as I use ad blockers.

I'm gonna guess ,That YOU didn't uncheck that little box that says....
I'd like other offers from our venders.
I never got spam emails from overstock venders.
