I'm so very glad for you. I've said before I think in some cases LEDs cause problems because the system is designed for certain loads. You have a plus balance with John whenever you choose to use it. It is my way of atoning for whatever parts you may have bought that turned out to be not needed. Rich You, my very good sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. It appears that it was just the flywheel puller that wasn't necessarily needed, but it was good to know that my stator wasn't burned/melted/made of cheese. I'm sure it will come in useful in days ahead. Again, thank you Bashan (and Eeky) and thank you John!

I was only able to get to o'reillys auto and autozone today; too much traffic and too many pedestrians out for the fireworks show. Neither store had a 35w bulb. Assuming the roads are less congested tomorrow, even though it will be a weekend, I will look at the other stores. I have high hopes for one store because it specializes in automotive accessories and my headlight bulbs are mainly used in fog/driving lights.

Rich! Send me a box of RR's for my water-cooled 250! LOL I've burnt up 3 of them so far. Another reason to convert it.

It is, three yellows for the three phase charging and bike power. Then a R-B-G pig. The red is always hot off of the battery, the black is energized from the red by the key, and green is ground. Once the key is on the whole system is regulated to 12v DC through the black via the R/R.

After all the driving around you could have had it in the mail! Here's one, here's another, and here's one more. Skip the waiting around crap, use the web. Rich

I was going to order it online if I couldn't find it at a nearby store; I was trying to avoid a $5 shipping fee on a $3 item.
It appears that last link offers free shipping. I'll order one right now.

We have confirmation!
I was fiddling around on my scooter in the garage and one of my neighbors happened to notice and inquired as to what I was doing. I explained the charging situation to him and as luck would have it, he had a 35w h3 he wasn't using!
I installed it and measured the voltage at the battery w/ the rpms around 4k. 14.72v DC. Say it with me in the kool-aid guys voice: Oh Yeah!
I guess when the bulb I ordered online comes in I'll give it to my neighbor as repayment.
I can finally get around to riding this thing... right after I get it jetted and tuned properly.
