So now that my scooter has hit 3000 miles (200 miles ago!) I want to do some preventative maintenance. Is there anything recommended for that many miles? Spark plug? Belt? Anything really?

Don't fix it till its broken . Stay on top of the fluids , look at do not take apart the brakes .

Fluids of course but I would check the belt with those miles. You do not want to find that the belt is starting to come apart and be stranded if you do not have a spare and tools on board. Alleyoop

I will check it. I'm sure it will be obvious if it is starting to come apart..I have a feeling that my brothers belt may be coming apart, seeing how his bike will randomly lose power and then randomly correct itself and act like it never bogged down in the first place. I shouldn't say it was bogging. It sounds more like the transmission is stuck in a very low gear! But the belt is a big deal, so I'll check it.

Nice picture keep up on the work needed done to taking care of the scoot you might want to change your diff fluid if you have not done yet. Other than that keep any eye on fluids. Congrads on making it to three thousand miles. I'm ahead im close to 4000 now.
