Been there, done that. My wife had the big C also. for 7 years I suffered right along with her on the crap meds they gave her. The stuff makes you feel worse than being dead some days. It's been a year now since they started taking her off all the junk and she's just really starting to get going again. I totally understand where you're coming from.

Way too many Doc's and the staff know us by first names.

This is my wife's second run in with cancer. Twelve years ago she had breast cancer and beat that. The worse part is that they do a survey to determine your susceptibility and she always scores low. She has done everything you can possibly do to prevent having the disease and it hit her not once, but twice. I'm hoping that once she recovers she gets back on the bike. It's just sitting there lonely and waiting to be used. I may have to start using it just to keep the dust off but it's hard enough just keeping three bikes in motion without adding a fourth.

My wife's not a rider. She'll ride with me, but that's about it. But when the bike is up and running well, we cruise the island like tourists.

Thanks John. My wife is actually fine, sort of. She had the surgery to finish up part of the cancer treatment. She is home. mending and looking better every day. What made the surgery so intense is that the surgeon did exploratory work to check for any recurrence of cancer. She's clean, no trace and looking forward to recovering. It's been hard for her, she's not a big girl and her body has been through the mill.

I'm glad your wife beats the s**t out of that cancer. I lost my mother to lung cancer almost three years ago, and I have a very passionate disgust for it. You don't realize how many people it's affecting until it takes away someone you love. Take good care of your wife. You and her will be in my prayers
