Makes total sense to run a diesel in a scooter. Diesels are not known for high performance but for their steady power and running forever. Just what a scooter needs to have going for it. If you want a hot rod get a bike and if you really want fast..... a crotch rocket. With torque at almost double the hp that scooter engine will be loafing most of the time and probably last a couple hundred thousand miles! Under powered motors never last very long as you are always needing more than you can get out of them. Only wish they had a full step thru on it.

Hero Motors is the largest motorcycle company in the world. They signed a deal giving Erik Buell the rights to distribute them in this country. Supposedly he's going to have dealers lined up and selling this year but I haven't heard a word about anything yet. If he does this right it will turn things on their ears. Hero has tons of cash and experience behind them.

Um, there's an electric motor in that front wheel? Where? Apparently nano technology is way beyond what I've read about! And the headlight comes off as a flashlight!? C'mon, let's come down to Earth people, that's just bizarre. Anyhow, I'd forget to put the headlight/flashlight back on and get stopped! The diesel sounds cool, the rest is just Chinese imitation gee gaws. Rich
