Anyone know the "Best" unrestricted cdi & high performance ignition coil for gy6 150cc ?
Thinking my advanced curve cdi is not all its supposed to be / or is wearing out.
Do they wear out slowly - or just fail ?

Coils fire when they get a pulse from the cdi .

They can do either. Capacitors can begin to be heat sensitive and start to intermittently fail as the components heat up. Of course any electrical device can have a catastrophic failure. A CDI will either start giving an erratic spark or just stop completely. I'd click on NYC parts at the top of the site and talk to John about this. He deals in these kinds of parts. He won't give you a bunch of BS or try to sell you something you don't need.
