Last Sat. night we were in conway and walking back to the motel we went right by a truck accessories place where they do installs. At the time I didn't make the connection but talking today I did.
Was late and there was one truck in there getting a lift kit put on from the looks of it. Two guys in there and one big v-twin in the lot out side. I didn't catch the brand bike but the seat was just about at knee level.
Apparently both fellows are the type who like poor handling vehicles. At 35mph in a tight turn the truck is going to tip over and the bike will not be able to lean and will run off the twisty road!
A couple months ago there was an ad on craigs list and I would have headed out immediately with my check book except the bike had been lowered and made into a hard tail. Really good price on a naked goldwing and all maintenance done properly. (new belts, battery, tires, paint, seats, and chrome) No telling if it could ever be returned to normal shocks, probably welded swing arm.
