I doubt if adjustment of the air/mix screw will be enough to clean up that plug. That looks to be maybe twice as much gas going thru as needed. Yea, that's what I was thinking, which is kinda why I gave a Plan A and a Plan B

I know I'm a bit late posting to this thread...but it does pertain to the OP's question. Pulled my valve cover this AM, just to take a look..scoot has been starting fine and running super fine...but I hadn't looked at the valves in 2000 miles...a little PM was in order Pulled the spark plug....then remembered this thread and thought I'd post a photo of my plug. The gap had opened up to .027'...reset to .025" and reinstalled. My 'Jonway', came from China with this standard NGK plug......4100 miles ago, I installed a K&N cone filter, rejected carb to 115...have done nothing with exhaust, cdi, or coil.
