No scars on my scooter.... And contrary to popular belief, not all of us have found ourselves lying in the weeds, with our bike on it's side. Got that kind of thing out of my system back in my bicycle years. Avoiding drunk or distracted drivers involves a degree of luck, but even that threat can be lessened (but certainly not eliminated), by making careful choices in where and when to ride.
Dumping a bike, when not being struck by another vehicle, is either, (most likely) operator error, or (less likely) equipment failure, and probably caused by improper maintenance.
