The Fly 150 was on my "Scooter from a Brand Name" list I had cogitating in my head for years. In 2008 it was the same price as a Kymco People 150 and had a mighty Vespa engine in a tube frame. I've since moved on to big and better with my Fashion but I've kept in touch. Now that the 155cc Vespa is five grand, a three grand Piaggio is a solid bargain in my book.

Of course why any one would even think Vespa with the PCX 150 out there, I'll never know. $1500 less than the 155cc and $300 less than a 50cc Vespa. What's to think about?

Nothin but a pile of metal with nuts and bolts to hold it together just like any other machine,,, and boy is that owner gonna take it in the shorts,,, that engine is ruined with a Capitol R,,,,ouch

That would be maybe $110 in parts and 2-3 day delivery had that been a china scooter. Bet thats going to be ten times that before that vespa rolls again.

And as luke would say that's worth it for quality parts and a "quality ride".

Oh that's a grand right now,,, unless he can find a used one,,, I did find a couple on eBay and the prices weren't too nutty $400 for a whole mill , but for 5 grand plus he shouldn't need it,,, that kind of failure shouldn't be seen till the machine has 50-60,000 miles,, this is ultimately my point and has been since I joined the Doc forum,,, the "other guys" think their machines are so superior and it's just not so,,, they all need service, parts, maintainance, just like the competition,,
