heh this may turn into a soda thread. I try not to drink soda and when I'm having a real craving for it I sometimes opt for sparking water with orange or grape sugar free mio squirted in. Then again sparking water isn't that great for you either and I cringe when I hear people count it towards their daily suggest water intake. Nothing like that sugary citrus caffeine goodness though. Why can't they come out with a sugar and aspartame free beverage that has caffeine AND tastes awesome ? Things I know from my nutrition cert can be saved for another day though

Soda thread it is then
A few years back the company that I worked for send me for a 6 month sting in africa.
The orange fanta in africa is different than in Europe: the color is brighter and much sweeter. I drunk 1.5 to 2 litters of orange fanta every single day. In six months I was 10 kgs heavier. Today I try to be away from sodas most of the time

Turns out that I'm diabetic and was downing a 2 liter a day of regular Dew. So I had to quit. Man did I lose weight. In 30 days I lost 4 inches off my waist just from quitting soda. I feel better and I'm not always twitchy from all the caffeine.

After making these changes, I feel so much better. I'd highly recommend that everyone get all the soda and sugar out of their lives. You would be amazed at the number of products that have sugar. And it's been discovered that sugar is 8 times as addictive as cocaine.

I'm not going to go into a diatribe against sugar here. But, it's a very good thing to get rid of.

i had a friend who i has not seen in awhile. he lost about 30 lbs. i said wow, what did you do? he said all i did was quit soda! those liquid calories add up

Hmm! Me thinks your both kinda weird.

But then, I had a very simple country boy kind of upbringing. Got our milk from the barn, chilled in fresh well water. Sugar and salt was very rare in Mother's cooking but the army spoiled me.

SB there are meetings out there for the weird a$$ I dress my pets up like people ,,,, its ok,, my wife has it bad,,,, the one dog loves it and is as crazy as a sh!thouse rat ,, the other sane one hides out in the garage with me till the psychosis passes and it's safe

LOL. I dont want kids so I dress the dogs up. My girl loves it because she knows we are going somewhere. My boy tolerates it but hes not the fashion diva that my girl is. I mainly do it because it makes people on the strips in South Beach smile.

Our dogs both have sweaters they wear in winter. Yeah.. LOL Winter in Hawaii. The Mini Pinscher loves it, but the Bull terrier/Sharpei mix tries to tear it off constantly.

I wouldn't have even thought of it with Satan, a male red Doberman, or with Tut, a large Siamese-Tabby mix with an Attitude. All I've had for pets since they passed are spiders.

surprisingly I didnt find any photos of people trying to dress their pet spiders my dogs are not too crazy about hats, lifejackets or sunglasses. we have winter in Miami. It's 10 random days between november and march where it gets down to 50 degrees. Sometimes they are in a row, sometimes separate. Anything under 72 degrees and my dogs shake like leaves.
