Hey guys. Sorry I've been AWOL for a while. I now have over 1000 miles on my 2014 Roketa MC 54 250 scooter. I am absolutely loving it and drive it EVERYWHERE even in the 110 degree heat here in AZ. I've had virtually no mechanical problems with the motor or CVT. Strongly recommend one for everyone. My only issue is that I need a place to put my 44oz Mt Dew when I am cruising around in the heat. Give me your recommendations. My thoughts are to cut a hole in the dashboard face where there is already a circular indentation and install some kind of contraption to hold the drink in place. What say you and/or what have you done?

How about using some of that copious handlebar space and don't trash the dash. Here's the link to the pic.

In 110 degree heat Mountain Dew is not exactly the drink you should be sucking down. Go to any sporting goods/bicycle shop and get a Camelback. It has a long straw and you won't be taking your hands off the bars or having to stop. Water with flavor enhancer would be much better.

When you pay $40K for your scooter that's the price you pay and YOU provide the server. But then if you have a trike you have ALL the chicks.

For $45 for a cup there better be knee pads involved,,, go to a bicycle shop and get one of those heavy wire bottle holders cheap and easy to mount

Oh man have I missed you guys' humor. Great ideas. Not sure why, but that area on my dash just screams aftermarket drink holder. Answering some questions here. In 110 degree heat, a Circle K Polar Pop styrofoam cup filled with ice cold Mt. Dew is my drink of choice. So, I am really considering installing something there big enough for my 44oz cup. I have seen and like most of those recommendations you boys provided, but they tent to be either to narrow for a 44ozer or not deep enough to manage the weight without tipping. Thought maybe one of you had my issue and the remedy. Any other thoughts. FYI, I put another 87 miles on the Roketa yesterday. Freakin love that machine. Thanks to all you guys for recommending the liquid cooled 250. I'll never go back now.

Mount one of those expandable holders for bicycles under the front seat lip. It's between your legs, out of the wind, and expands to hold almost any size drink.

Sorry, I didn't realize the drink needed to stay in the original container. So I see that Guitarman has the best suggestion. I personally prefer to stop and get off before taking in fluids so have never had a drink holder even on the bicycle where I have a rack and insulated cooler/lunch box.

I was a Dewaholic. Had to give it up. Switched to Diet Dew for a while but that just added to the thickness of the front of my shirts. Finally gave up soda altogether and my beer gut faded away within 30 days. Soda really packs on the pounds. And the sugar is toxic too.

you don't go MIA as bad as I do on these boards. 44oz. You sound like me when I used to drink a 3 liter of mountain dew a day a work. I was 14 and they made 3 liters back then. LOL. Lets just say that place was spic and span clean with how much I'd clean and organize on my caffeine fits. a couple ideas to consider that are less conventional than your average cup holder. You could try a hydration bag. (I use mine for biking) Just toss your dew in it and leave it in the fridge or freezer. (Its freezer safe plastic) and the bag is insulated. www.walmart.com/ip/Outdoor-Products-Kilometer-Hydration-Pack-with-2L-Bladder/27607081The one in that link has crap colors but you can get " low profile ones like that for around $18 in the bicycle and camping section of Walmart. Or if you want more storage room you can get one that has pockets like a smaller type book bag. For reaching drinks easily on my jetski I bought this which I put the strap of under my seat to secure it. Its meant for horses but you can use it for scooters, jetski's etc too The cup holders wont hold a 44oz but the pockets on it open will and its semi insulated. It looks kind of beat up in the picture but in person it is a nice solid black canvas. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002HW09U0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1My last idea for holding any size drink bottle would be if you took an empty protein powder tub and cut off the top , cut holes in the sides and bungeed it around the bottom of your scooter floor. Kinda ghetto but if you could find a tub to match your scooter, like a black one, it may look a little better. I use my old protein tubs by cutting them off and planting stuff in them since its seems impossible for me to find white planters of that size. Not sure why white plastic planters are so uncommon. Empty protein tubs can also be used for cheap boat to dock bumpers Or you could use a small empty bucket from home depot for something more sturdy. If you run bungee cords through it and around it instead of just around it it would hold the drink more secure in it too. I have a thing for the $3.25 10 pack of black and purple one foot bungee cords in the camping section of walmart lately more ideas can be found by google / image : search 44oz. cup holder. www.google.com/search?q=44oz+cup+holder&safe=off&espv=2&biw=1517&bih=747&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=atxDVKb9E6TL8QHWlIBY&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&dpr=0.9Good luck
