I have a 2013 cali classic 125 cc.. I replaced the previous belt and sliders. I did this because the dealership have dopes running the place. They put a belt that was too long, and 13 g sliders. I just need normal performance. I just wanted factory oem stuff. They couldn't get it very quickly and didn't think to have anything in stock for the scooter I purchased from them.
Anyway, I got a Bando 799-19-28 belt and Dr pulley 14 g rollers. I can get up to 55mph again and gas mileage is up to 73mpg on a windy day. Yes! I couldn't get past 53 mph before and gas mileage was 60 mpg on a great day., no wind.
I now have a excessive vibration from 25 mph to 30mph maybe 35 mph. Also, there is a sound that comes on about 30 mph behind the vibration that stays until past 50 mph with a slight vibration constant. The sound is that of car tires on a highway. The highway sound of tires. It's the only thing it sounds like to me.
My questions, well the vibration subside? Week the vibrations decrease? I'd it possible the Dr pulley rollers are incorrectly faced and/or is the belt the problem? I need to emphasis that I can go 55 mph and faster again, and my gas mileage is much closer to correct.
Thank you all

Yes the sliders could be in wrong. Pull the variator and check before something nasty happens. Here's how they go in:
Are your plastic glides still in?

I had a vibration and noise on my 150 short case that came from a stretched belt. 799 sounds odd to me. Are you sure that's the right length.

Ok I did something that fixed it for me. I opened the variator area up. Nothing looked wrong. Took off variator, same thing, nothing wrong. Decided that I'd like to try mixing sliders (13g) and rollers (14g). Then I noticed that when I would go to put the variator back together and the belt back on the belt would push the variator back some. I used right hand to get the belt to have more play and then put the belt and variator fan back on. I then tightened the but by hand as far as I as I could. Used the impact the rest of the way. It's great now. Now if I can figure out why the gas mileage is only 60 mpg.

Still having problems tuning CVT. Cannot get a belt size from Lance.
Edit: they did give me a size of 799 x 19 x 28 however, the case for CVT is 17 to 18 inches, should be a long case belt size. So I am leaving the 835 x 20 x 30 I think.
Might change it back to the 799 x 19 x 28 I have to see if anything is better for performance.
Do one change and check results.
