Is it possible to keep the exhaust standard with a new 70cc kit i haven't tried anything yet as my bike is under restoration,I havent brought a exhaust yet but thinking of a standard one ?
2t 50/70cc yamaha jog engine. 2008

Using a standard exhaust will work, but, with the bigger displacement means more exhaust resulting in a restricted exhaust. To get the most out of the kit go with a high flow exhaust. Also, do not forget to rejet your carb.

Hi thanks for the Knowledge,Since then iv'e gone back and brought a 50cc standard kit and fitted it,Got myself a used 2t yamaha aerox High flow exhaust question is will i need to change anything now ?

You might need a bigger carb and free flow air filer if you haven't installed that already. Pull your plug and see what it looks like. If it's real dark it's getting too much gas already. If it looks bare it needs more fuel and you might need to upjet or go to a bigger carb.
