We ask for a concise history but I think that takes it to new levels. That my have been further truncated by just saying "cleaned". Yes valves, and check for vacuum leaks also. Man, that was a verbose reply! Rich

Valves are fine if it idles guys, Tight valves it would not idle. So twisting the throttle and it goes to sleep is lack of fuel OR no air filter on the carb and sucking in to much air. So if you don't have a air filter on it put one on. If so then turn the fuel ratio screw counter clockwise 2 1/2 turns from the closed position. So first turn it clockwise until it stops then turn it counter clockwise 2 1/2 turns.

Nice! I haven't checked the air filter yet, since we bought it knowing there were problems. I just pulled it off and there is NONE.
I'll be picking one up and update this post.
