Fenders?

Are fenders mandatory on bikes? I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I don't want to get pulled over on Frankie and get raked over the coals. He's as bare as you can get, no turn signals, no fenders, no bright lights, no CVT cover, pretty naked. Rich

I wouldn't think so. Look at all the choppers with raked front ends and springer forks. Nary a fender among them.

The chopper thing is what I would bring up. Look at the primary drives that are exposed and look dangerous as can be.
I did ask several cops that I treat and got different answers. They all pretty much said if I wanted to kill myself they wouldn't stop me. But you could get that one Sgt. Coalraker and good luck with that. Rich
