so i just bought a jinlun jl250p , and when it starts up (in neutral) the rpm goes up to 4000k , what should i do?, adjust the idle screw? if yes can someone tell me where it is ( i know it in the card but what side) , thank you

Follow the throttle cable down to the carb. Adjust the throttle stop. That is more than the mix adjust will do.

That pic looks like a flatside carb and I don't think that's the idle screw. Your bike is not a scooter and you should seek out a forum specific to your machine in my opinion. Rich

Yes, that screw you circled turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE to lower the idle, that is a flat side carb which has the throttle cable going into the top of the carb and it hooks on to the slider with the needle. Alleyoop
