I just broke the green connector off when trying to crimp it with pliers, a lot. *Sigh* I am going to just take it to my local scooter shop. Thanks anyway. That last statement is your best bet as it sounds like your lot familiar with automotive electrics.
But to elaborate on what I suggested, as an old hand at 'hot wiring'. Take those two female connectors and put them together, end to end. Like you would be connecting a male and a female. Take one of the connectors and rotate it 180 degrees along it's axis and then offset the alignment by half. They will, with a little effort, push together. There is no need to crush or use any tools, just your hands. This isn't a very secure and reliable connection but it will "get ya ot a there".
Take it to some one that knows how to replace that broken fitting and replace the defective switch.
Best wishes.

Forget it Andy, the guy doesn't want to put any effort into it. It was nice of you to try though, so you get a piston! Rich

First off all it doesn't seem like any scooter normally discussed here.

Yeah, it seems like he's just wanting someone to pop on over and do it for him.
Oh well... Live and get older.

Richard I tried that, too. But since my moped wouldn't start I assumed I needed to completely connect them by putting all of one connector into the other. Thank you for verifying that this works though. I'm going to purchase a battery charger or a new battery because that's the other problem. Also, if I already cut the green and red wires with a little of the actual wires sticking out can I just touch them to each other by wrapping one wire around the other that's stripped a little? This is what Alley recommended in my other thread.

Thanks for actually putting up pictures on how to do it. Anyone else would be too lazy to do something like that. Rotate and offset:
Insert one into other using insulation to hold:

Thanks, As is said - a picture is worth a thousand words. I just wish they had turned out better. I have taken pics that close up before.

Thanks, As is said - a picture is worth a thousand words. I just wish they had turned out better. I have taken pics that close up before. Guitarman was the one who said strip the wires and just connect them. I'm doing that and it works flawlessly. I also had to replace a lot of parts and adjust the valves on the scooter. Happy it works. Thanks all.
