Well KZ has come up with an idea about a group ride which I really like. I'll create a special board or sticky post for everybody to post on. What do you think gang? Here is part of his PM to me:

Since everybody lives apart and really can't ride together the idea is that we should all ride on one day, take pictures, and report knowing that everybody else is out doing the same. A Spiritual group ride if you will. Columbus Day is Oct. 13th and the weather shouldn't be too prohibitive for most. An end of the season event.

This all seems like a very good idea and I think I've got something that all of you might like. I just implemented a sub board at the bottom of the Pics and Videos board called Members Picture Gallery. This is a totally different kind of posting area and at present the way it is set up members can create their own gallery and add pics and comments describing the event. You will find a lot of the normal reply features gone and the ONLY way you can post a image is to have a outside host such as photobucket and you MUST place a valid URL of the image. You have a comment box to add any thing you want to YOUR gallery.

When you want to add more material you simply click on Add Image and any comments associated with that image you like. It will add each image below the last one you posted post after post. At present I have it made to allow only the member who created the gallery to make comments and no other member may say a thing on the gallery it's viewing only.

But if members want it fixed so others may make comments only to another member's gallery but not post any of their own images on another's gallery I can fix that too, it's up to all here about that, in fact if Rich wants to he can do a poll?

Now do know that even though the material is exclusively yours on your gallery should anything obscene or against Proboards TOS be posted administration does have the ability to remove such material and actions will be taken to insure the offender doesn't do it again.

I started the first gallery for you to look at and see if you would like to create your own. If you want to you will see the Create Gallery button at the top right hand corner of the posting area where you would normally see create thread. Think of this kind of like your own personal blog.

Also I failed to mention this would be a good thing to use for say a tutorial on a scooter project as well.
