My ride will consist of the obligatory ride down the old road to the San Fernando valley to pickup topanga canyon,,,then on to mulholland hyway to encinal canyon to the pacific coast hyway,,,to latigo canyon,,,to kanan dume to mulholland and end up at the rockstore for lunch,,,i'll be doing my ride on sunday,,,,

Actually, I just partly retired 2 months ago, and so I take mondays off. Was going to take fridays, but we get a lot of last minute, need it now jobs on Friday afternoon. So, yup. Three day weekends.  But yeah, I didn't realize it was on Monday, but should have. I don't think anyone would mind making this a 3 day event? |

There's an 80% chance of rain and rather cool so I may not get to do much. I have to go to the clinic in the morning so I may check out the truck parts/scooter store across the street. Then see what else I may do if the truck is running good.
Sorry the moped is still down, maybe for ever.

I ride pretty much every day and am sure I will sunday. By the way when I was a little kid I was taught columbus day is oct 12. I just hate changing rules in the middle of the game too.

Took the scooter out on Saturday to Red Rock Overlook west of Las Vegas, then decided to continue to Mountain Springs Saloon and hang with the heavy iron. I'm parked down by the white car. Still air, temp at Mountain Springs in the mid 60's, and lots of sun. Very nice. On Monday, I took my FJ1200 back to Red Rock.  |
