Any one keep one of those rain suits that come in a small net sack in their glove box? It wasn't raining today but I used the jacket. Went to breakfast around 11 this am and wore just a tshirt as it was around 70. On the way home after one other stop it got down to 60 and wind was gusting to at least 30 maybe 35. The jacket sure felt good on the way home. I bought the rain suit set at walmart about 10 years ago and have used it maybe a half-dozen times since. It is sure worth carrying as far as I am concerned.

Am sure glad I took off the big givi windshield and put the little stock windshield back on. A scooter with a windshield is sure a hand full when you are getting gusts from the side. With most of the scooters the weight is down low and a side gust really beats you up. That majesty is only 10lbs or so lighter in weight than my last motorcycle but there is ten worlds of difference in handling especially in high winds. Under the same type of conditions you would hardly even notice the wind on a bike. I would have just left the windshield off except it left holes and a place for the damn plastic to get flopping around. One day I will get the givi and cut it in half and mount up the bottom half.

I've used my rain suit jacket many times on the motorcycles that had bags. Just cutting the wind makes a big deference.
Never could understand those huge windscreens.

I like a nice fairing and a windscreen that cuts it off my body but leaves some for my face.

Speaking of Rainsuits.... Wish I had mine today. Driving rain like you rarely see here on Oahu. the new rubber was awesome. No slips or slides. Man was it coming down. Only for about 3 miles, but in that 3 miles... I was swimming.
