I have put approximately 1000 miles on the stella now and aside from the cheesy main fuse holder which got changed on the first look over to a blade style fuse and got away from the freddie flintstone glass tube type ,,i can say i am very well pleased,,,after the next oil change the pinasco pipe and carb go on and i'm sure i'll be even more happy,,,,3 more millimeter larger carb should help with the topend ,,it literally runs out of breath at 55-60mph i can feel it,,,so with a claimed 20% increase of power it should be even better,,,oh on a good note i went over the scooter and cleaned it and wiped down the disc and the pulsing is 80% gone,,,disc looked clean so i may disassemble it and chuck it up in the lathe and scuff a few thou off of it,,,,all in all i give the baby a thumbs up and i would recommend it to anyone that wanted a nice around town bike,,it's not a freeway blaster,,,but for anything in the 45-50mph range this is it,,,,

Yeah it's nice, I love the easy access to the engine. Also the spare tire, that's a hoot. Could you actually change the tire out on the road? What causes that rotor warping? My Bashans have it HORRIBLY, but the SYM and CFs don't have a bit of it. It just shows it doesn't have to be there. Rich

Mis-aligned brakes can also cause the rotor to warp. Or if the piston fails to retract properly, especially if you have pistons both sides of the rotor instead of just the outside.

Well 300 more miles to go for 2000 miles and next oil change then the pipe and carb go on,,,, 23mm pinasco slide carb with accel pump and I went with the Sito 4t pipe instead of the pinasco symphony because of weight savings and wallet savings $150 for the Sito shipped,,, $400+ ship for the pinasco,,, ouch,,, huge difference in price and very similar performance so I went with the Sito ,,, and 4 lbs lighter,,,, they claim 20%+ increase in power ,,, I think that's a stretch but we'll see,,, I think just getting rid of the 18mm stock carb will help it breathe in the upper rpms,,, that alone without anymore power will be a very big plus
