Changed. Carb now has low speed adjustment, adjust 1/8 both ways NO difference (gas/vent lines*( but not from tank to peacock/fuel filter) with helix lines.) will start now but STILL will not stay running at idle QMB139,Gy6, bashan, BOSS,chinese, knock, off, honda, ruckus. Should I just swap motors ? with an 100 cc from scrappydogscooters.com . Can post videos and pics if you need them. ALL comments welcome.

Turn it more than 1/8, 1/4 also give the IDLE SPEED screw 1/16 turn clockwise, it may be set to low and the butterfly is covering up to much of the pilot fuel outlets so not enough fuel. Alleyoop

Well my comment would be talking about swapping motors is a little premature unless you're Scrappy. He'd love it!! There's a lot of things to go through, try what Alley said. Rich

OK see that screw right below the big gold piece that is your FUEL RATIO mixture screw. It is running really lean that is why when you start it up it idles really high.
Turn the fuel ratio screw CLOCKWISE until it stops, then turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE 2 1/2 turns and see how it acts. If it starts up and idles lower than before wait until the idle comes down if the idle comes down to low it will die so then turn the IDLE SPEED SCREW 1/16 clockwise. You have to have the Fuel Mixture and Idle speed screw set correctly otherwise it will start and die or idle to high. The trick is to get it to start and idle all by itself so then you can FINE tune the FUEL MIXTURE. Alleyoop

Yeah, run the idle screw down. That's not a petcock, it's a fuel pump. Is that a clear line running into the carb? Can you see gas flowing through it? I'm wondering about the pump. Can you hook a gravity feed tank up to the carb just as an experiment? Maybe it's running out of gas. I also agree with the possibility of it being too lean but I'm thinking vac leak. I'd check all the vac lines and intake manifold for leaks. That big hose is part of the PAIR system, it's not a factor. The filter you put on is to the vac nipple for the PAIR and the plugged hose off of the intake manifold ran to it. It's just a valve, it's not necessary to put a filter on it.

Wait a minute! What do you mean you were getting lots of gas through that vac line!?

Yes, the line with the screw and the filter had gas in it, Not a lot but it would start building up than stall out And I knew it was a fuel pump, but I have heard it being called both. Yes clear line TO carb no problem with fuel flow, line full of gas. i.imgur.com/eSdLhnB.jpg

2nd video. @ about 40 seconds you can see gas in the vac line, the one going to the pair system. The one I blocked off. This is BEFORE I changed the carburetor and blocked the pair off.

Also before I adjust air/fuel how long do I let warm up, or Can I just adjust it 2 1/2 turns out? then start it. Also all vac line have been changed to helix lines, the only one I didn't change was the one coming from the gas tank to the fuel pump. Edit, after adjusting 2 1/2 out still will not stay running, now I this may sound stupid but by 2 1/2 out you mean, (and I painted the top of the blade red the opposite side black) 1 revolution would be red back at top correct? or would it be black on top. I'm going to work don't know when I am getting out, as soon as I get out I will check back here.
Again thanks for all the help, If I could buy you guys a beer I would.

You gently turn the A/F screw clockwise until it just bottoms out. Then back out 2 1/2 turns, then adjust it. So with the new carb there's no gas in the vac line?
