Hello. When I fix one thing on this scooter another goes bad I got the turning signal relay and new headlights in ( they fit and work but as I was putting it back together I noticed the plastic piece that works the throttle is cracked half way around. It also seems like it may have a little too much play in it. It still works but I know when this goes I will probably not be able to accelerate so I want to order parts and fix it ASAP. Here is a 3 second video of the issue: www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10201995458648477&l=123019705993287722What part do I order? Is this a hard to fix thing? Can I get the part in metal instead of plastic? Thanks!

Ah yes, the throttle. I've had my share of issues with the throttle. Luckily for you, this part is very simple to replace (not like my throttle CABLE snapping in two pieces). I unfortunately could not find a metal version of it, but this is the part you need: www.amazon.com/Scooter-Moped-125cc-Throttle-Control/dp/B005ICGRHUIt's very very easy to fix, just take off the front plastic that is covering the black metal securing plates (This thing: i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDUwWDYwMA==/$%28KGrHqVHJDMFBl,wYNM-BQj3%28bSwlQ::60_35.JPG), it is held on by one screw. Pull the old throttle out, and swap the new one in. Reinstall. It can be a bit tricky at first, but you'll get it!

Thanks!! I was just about to buy this to fix it for now until I saw your post and the right way to fix it is about the same price www.jbweld.com/product/j-b-plasticweld-putty/ I'm used to things being tricky at first with this scooter. LOL.

Thanks Alley. I thought of that today. I was thinking, what if this thing goes while I'm driving? I'll be able to not accelerate or, not be able to decelerate and I'll have to hit the kill switch. Scooters need the double blinker option for emergencies. Ahhh my jetski. I need to get out on her ASAP. Killer weather here. Ya I can just yank the safety lanyard off the knob ( kill switch ) That is a whole-nother monster I'm learning on top of bike repairs. Hopefully when its time to replace the wear ring on the impeller I can do it myself since its a $300 job at repair places. No thanks! I have BoatUS towing for the jetski, AAA for the scooter and buses with bike racks for bike break downs. I'm covered
