Hi ! I have been in the process of moving the last week and a half to a bit smaller studio apartment . The Vespa TX-200 engine currently on the scoot has big issues at the moment. The inner shifting rod that the cruciform screws on to that goes between the gears, broke . I made it home but it wasn't good when I removed the shifter assy off the engine. The inner shifter rod was part of the original drive shaft and gears from the scoots original 150cc 2 cycle engine. Because of the move I have had no time to do the needed repairs. Luckily I already have the necessary spare parts and gaskets to do the work with. The part went out after 8000 miles of heavy use. I'll have to remove the right side crankcase off the engine again to get at the drive shaft and gears, to put the new shifter rod in. Hopefully I can get a few photo's taken while doing the repairs. Now the biggest issue will be getting good weather to do the repairs in. The repairs won't take me long due to the experience I already have tearing the engine down.
