Ok, so I've been giving serious consideration to a GY6 180cc Power kit, adding a stroker to bring it up to 188cc...
My current carb is 24mm cvk...
First question, could I upjet my current carb enough to work with this size of engine? And if not, what size of carb would you recommend?

I'd get a Uni, a nice pipe, stick with the stock carb, and maybe upjet to 115 and see what it does. Before you start buying expensive carbs you'd be surprised what a few add ons can do. Just keep checking the plug for mixture. Guys keep throwing more gas at the engine and then find out the plug is black.

Got to ask what kit is a 180cc Kit and which stroker to bring it up to 188cc.
Here is my setup so you can decide what you want to do Notice the carb and jets I have in the carb. Alleyoop
Here is are the mods on my Trike: Motor is a 157QMJ 149.6cc Stock, with the 62bbk and the 60mm Stroker Crank it is 182ccs.

Got to ask what kit is a 180cc Kit and which stroker to bring it up to 188cc. 180cc 63mm Big Bore Engine Kit for 150cc GY6 Chinese Scooters That's the 180cc Kit... It does use a 63mm bore, but this is a "b" case motor and can accommodate all the way up to 67mm should I decide to bore it... Awesome thing about this kit is everything is pre-bored... No machine work required. One more awesome thing about this kit, the cylinder is 2.5mm taller than stock meaning no spacers required. Next up, stock stroke is 57.8, so we add this +2.5 Hoca stroker to bring it up to a 60.3 stroke. 63mm bore + 60.3mm stroke = 188cc's BTW, if you have a 62mm bore, with a 60 stroke, you only have a 181cc, not 182cc. The equation is quite simple to calculate the displacement. Half your Bore (62/2=31), Square it (31x31=961), multiply by pi (961 x 3.14159 = 3019.070796460177), then multiply by your stroke (3019.070796460177 x 60mm = 181144.2477876106 )and move you decimal... 181. 1442477876106 Viola... 181cc *EDIT; Got to thinking about it.... You may have a +2.5mm stroker which means your at 60.3mm stroke... Doing the math at 62mm bore x 60.2mm stroke will bring you up to 182cc..... Otherwise you're at +2.2mm stroker and that puts ya at 181cc.

Where in the heck did you find a 60.3mm for the B case? Even other stroker cranks are far and few between for that motor. Most strokers come 2.2, 2.5 etcc..
Are your sure you have a B case what does the studs measure crisscross wise which is the only way you will know without pulling the whole top end off. Take the Valve cover off and measure the studs center to center crisscross that will tell you if you have the big B case or the smaller B case with just a top end and length difference. Alleyoop

Alleyoop Did you not click on the links I provided? The 180cc is plastered all over the performance websites. Strokers area a dime a dozen and all over the net as well.... Very easy to find..... And no, I do not have a B case, the 180cc is the B case....... There's a lot of confusion about the "B" case motor I have found and it took me quite a while to get it sorted out.... For this thread, we will call the b case the one with the 57 stud spacing.... First off, there are a LOT of different b cases...Short case, long case and extra long case. There's a lot of misinformation that says it's only the 16" extra long case that has the 57mm spacing... Not true! Is what is true, the ones that have a 16" wheel require an oddball crank...... But, there are also b case motors that only have 54mm stud spacing.... The 180cc kit I linked to does have 57mm spacing, but uses a standard gy6 crank, meaning I can use a GY6 stroker.... Now, Keep in mind, Taida also makes their own gy6 232cc capable engine, it can use the super 8200 crank (like the 16" b case") and a few others that will not work with this 180cc kit..... It would take a long time to explain all the differences

That is cool I know all about the B cases that is why I asked the question to make sure you know what in the hell is in your scoot before you spend money and find out it will not work on your motor because not to many dealers will refund for wrong parts. Just trying to help you bro, with whatever you decide to get, since you been asking lots of questions it is obvious on some of these things your not that knowledgeable. I also see you are getting many different flavors to your questions and that does not help, it does confuses things more. Alleyoop

I wasn't providing the information I did so I could argue/debate... I provided the info to show you where I'm getting my info and sources from..... If anything is wrong on my part, I welcome being corrected as thats half the reason I go through the effort... Yes, I've been asking a lot of questions because I find these little GY6's most fascinating! The fanfare and all the aftermarket parts is something I wasn't aware of when I purchased my scoot... However, even though I'm not all that "knowledgeable" yet, over the course of this winter, you will see that radically change. I do have a basic mechanical skill set, full shop loaded with tools and I don't just ask questions on the web I also have a Haynes manual to get hard numbers... But, I will still be asking lots of questions too! For as long as you guys put up with it that is... Anyhow, sometime meaning/context etc etc can get lost in text... If my post aren't coming off as appreciative, just know that I am...
