Well it'll be happy when I get to eat! Somehow I got stuck with meal planning but just a little of the cooking! My wife is at her sisters and I furnished all the food and I'm just making two things to take up there around noon. Menu for today. Smoked ham glazed with brown sugar and plum sauce (my plums) Hickory smoked turkey, in the smoker as I type and I mean fresh cut hickory wood not that store bought crap Sweet potatoes (mine I raised) covered in brown sugar and molasses Corn on the cob ( my corn I raised) Green beans (again my raised beans) Yeast rolls homemade that I make in the oven right now Turnip and collard greens I picked this morning in the crock pot right now with a piece of hog jowl for flavor in them Cranberry sauce (had to actually buy this)  Pumpkin pie made with my pumpkins I raised Persimmon cake made with fresh persimmons my grandkids picked Pecan Pie made form freshly picked up pecans we picked up and shelled yesterday from my trees. So this afternoon when I get full my biggest concern will be driving home stuffed!  JR |

I just got back home and I'm so stuffed I'm almost sick! Brought lot's of leftover goodies home too. Be eating leftovers for two days! OK it's nap time.  |
