So has anyone gone out on Black Friday for retail store sales . Wait on the long lines and fight the crowds ?
I did it once but never again . I like the 50 and 75% off sales after xmass .

My son and daughter in law went to Wally Mart. Giant crowds and fist fight over a T.V. The only thing they came back with was the knowledge of never doing that again.

I went out to the mall only once in the late '80s. Inside the mall was no different from any weekend but the parking lots were a nightmare. Today after a visit to the VA clinic for a flue shot I made a quick stop at Fleet Farm and Woodman's groceries - that was almost empty. Then came home to safety and sanity.
Did you see what happened in England. There first every Black Friday.

Why would you go to a store on BF when they will sell you the same things in the comfort of your home on a computer and ship them to your home free or the local store by you free so all you have to do is pick them up? Also sometimes one can find a old promo code that is still in their computer system that they haven't pulled out and even get more off. Example my wife today bought almost $1k at Kohls sitting at her computer and we used a 20% off and free shipping because of offers we receive in the mail. Also today Kohls give you back $15 in Kohl cash for every $50 you spend so I just printed off another $150 we can spend starting on Dec 1 and I also was given double reward points of 900 which means I get another $5 for every 100 points = another $45. Long story short I bought Christmas for over 1/2 of my family totaling over $1k and after rewards and cash back will spend only $395 and I don't mean junk, name brand like Levi and sit at home, let the crowds duke it out and not spend any gas or wear and tear on my car. Let UPS wear out their vehicles. I found another old Kohls promo code and hit them for another 15% off! She's online at toyrus doing the same thing right now, and I'm buying more at best buy and Walmart to pretty well finish up our entire Christmas shopping list. Got a few things to buy for her when she is at work and can't see me on cyber Monday this coming week. Two years ago my wife was terrified at buying online. She did go with her sister and get a few things at WalMart Thursday night and after a fight broke out over bed sheets she told her sister never again! She said her hubby had the right idea on this Christmas shopping. She said next year all of her family is going to come to my house and Black Friday with us and let me help them save some dough. I said OK as long as they brought goodies to eat!
