Pete has had extensive experience building many super bikes including Ducatis and has owned probably 50+ bikes. He has worked on every one of them and trashed them. Kidding, the man knows his way around bikes. We also have many present and former bike owners on the forum including RV, G Man, JCT, Clonedrone, KZ, the list is extensive. So if you need some help we'll give it a whirl, it could be fun.

used to love riding my Goldwing, until I lost the stator and found out it takes 2 full days of pulling the motor to replace it. not one of japans better ideas.

Really? 2 full days? Is that real time or Dealer quote time? I'm pretty sure it can be done in a single day. Might take all day, but it shouldn't take more than that.

the book says in a fully equipped shop, with a highly skilled tech and a chest full of tools it should take 8/10 hrs. however, in a gravel driveway with a basic tool kit and a 6 pack it takes slightly longer. the Goldwing had to leave after I parked it in some old ladies back seat.

Then theres a car alternator mod where you stick an extra pulley on the front of the engine. Had a wing that the alternator took a $hit took a big hit on it when I got rid of it.

Since you parked it inside a car, I'll let you keep it. Having to take the car off AND open the case is more than I really want to do. LOL
