The heat damage on the pipe might be helped with a bit of naval jelly. The rust on the chrome parts can be handled with toothpaste and some elbow grease.

rust reverter works wonders,,and makes a primer when its dry,,,never dull polish wadding for the chrome,,,both work excellent

wipe vinegar on it wait 24 hours neutralize with baking soda and water rinse , sand , prime and paint .
