First off hello everyone I'm new to scooters but have rode/raced motorcycles some years ago. I have a 2013 Kymco Super8 150cc it runs ok but I would like to wake it up.So here are some of my thoughts and this is where you can help/advise. 1 Some kind of exhaust but don't want real loud this is for street use. 2 How about a 30mm carb with pump 3 a different intake manifold & air filter 4 Improvements to ignition cdi box? coil ? iridium plug? 5 new cam & what one do I choose? Now I will sit back and see what is recomended Thank you all

I'm with John. Are you looking to whip any race bike you see on the street or are you looking for better mileage or what?
But my first recommendation is to always check out and get rid of the PAIR or EGR system. You'll pick up power and fuel economy at the same time.

Now I will sit back and see what is recomended Thank you all 1A. free flow exhaust will not do much for you with a stock motor. 2A. Bigger carb without adding Displacement is a waste. You can just upjet your current carb for the stock motor 3A. Free flow Air Filter and Free Flow muffler will help a bit because you will have to upjet the carb. 4A. All that will give you easier starts, better mpg and with the performance CDI a little kick on the low end due to advanced timing. 5A. Cams are for low end or high revves which do you want. Top end or bottom end. But you have to tell us what you want and expect top end or bottom end or little of both. But remember to get little of both you give up a little on either end. Or you can go lots of good low end or lots of good top end. But the best bang for your bucks is work with your CVT first get that tuned right for little more ump off the line and little more top end. Then you can work on the motor for more power. Alleyoop

Thank you all for your input so far. What I'm Looking to do is have a good strong reliable Street bike. This one is not bad but any Improovement would be nice. I have even Concidered a complete 180 Motor with the Thought that any improvements would work With a new motor.
