Tach came, any buttons I need to push, or is it set up for the trike?

Try like it came you will know right away if you need to set it to a different number. It should register idle after it is warm around 1500-1800.

Evenin cyborg, It's a tach and hours meter. I needed the tach to see how much my rpm's drop when I'm going up the hills around here so Ally can tell me the weights I MIGHT need.

Once you get it running good the tach will let you know when something is going south, I tell people a tach is a FORTUNE TELLER, it tells you the past present and future . It is essential for tuning and setting up the CVT for setting it up for the area and or how you ride. Alleyoop

Afternoon Boys, Well, I got the tach installed. One thing I have learned about a trike is, you have to take things off to take things off. Now I didn't want to just run the wire from the tach to the spark plug and let it find a place to short out, and I have had the right panels off 3 times already, So this time I decided to take the left side off and wire tie the wire up correctly. I got all the panels off so I could see what I was doing. I wrapped the wire around the spark plug wire then glued it so it would stay. It seems to work ok. But now, Alleyoop, Listen to this and tell me what you think.

Notice it comes down and almost wants to die, it is to RICH, You can also hear the Throaty sound of the muffler indicating a little to much fuel. Lean it out a little maybe 1/2 turn clockwise. It should rev up nice and come down nice not almost die and then pick up again. The tach appears to be set correctly. Alleyoop
