Well thanks to W650 i started to get a little interest going on the ( CSC branded ) zongshen rx3 enduro/adventure style bike ,,,chinese of course,,so over the last 3-4 days i've been researching the bike,,read a bunch of reviews all were pretty positive,,a few picks but nothing bad,,,then i went to zongshens site!!!!! HOLY HAMSTERS!! !! those guys got themselves a factory!!!! clean, very orderly,,,i dare say state of the art,,,all the best machining centers ,,,,everything,,,i was impressed,,,still am,,,so i read another article about a real live endurance test,,a 3200 mile loop thru china,,,we're talking crossing rivers mud up to the axels stuff,,,so off 8 of them went,,,2 flats and one not so badly failed rear wheel bearing,,,that's it,,and it was pretty near grueling,,,they are fielding 2 bikes next dakar race,,,,let's see how they do,,,i must be honest if they make it in a 350 or 400cc it would be a serious contender for "pete's next bike",,,and then there's the pesky "gotta pass california emission regs",,,should make it fairly easy,,,with modern fuel injection it will pass ,,,but i digress seeing the factories scooter and otherwise makes me think this is the end of cheap and nasty chinese scooters forever,,,and the super low price drop shipment as well i'm afraid

It sure looks like I want one too. Also looks like the days of a cheap china bike/scooter are close to over. Wondering what the japs will do......maybe raise their prices to create the illusion theirs are better?

With all being equal in the future, there isn't a way in the world I would ever look at a jap bike again.

I gotta think that Scott Collisimo's Cleveland Cycle Werks bikes started this interest in China bikes. His are built for him by the Taiwan company CPI and have garnered good reviews on Youtube and Cycle World magazine, among others. It will be pretty hard for the rest of the Chinese industry to ignore what America really wants after this. Did you see this Pete? www.clevelandcyclewerks.com/hooligun-details/

Doesn't look like cleveland wants to sell any thing from their web pages. no prices or places to go and look.

www.pitmotorsltd.com/dealers/With over 80MPG and 70MPH+ cruising, priced under $3300 (in the USA) and a beautiful classic look. The Ace is sure to make you feel like one.
The Standard goes for like $3295 and the Deluxe is a few hundred more. The Hooligun hasn't got a price yet and isn't for sale yet as far as I know.

If they intend to sell many here they need to have some one build a better web site. Specs are all in mm, they probably don't know it but most people in the USA use inches, gallons etc. not kw.

Not too shabby Jim ,,, they are making huge strides in quality as of later,,,, I'm telling you if they bump the rx3 to 350-400cc I'm buying ,,, it's a he!! Of a Nice bike for the dough,,, a 250 is just a little small,,, but it has been getting the long look from me,,, I'd even consider an aftermarket jug and piston by a good company
