Alleyoop,
1. The trike will start to grab at 2300rpm, but will move forward strong at 25 to 2600 rpm.

2. Going up a holler the rpm's will go up to 6500 at about 28 mph, then the speed will increase but the rpm's will stay the same. Almost like the belt is slipping on my atv. The rpm's will not fluctuate, it just takes time for the trike to get up to speed.
The trike is a 150 and my atv is a 500, so there will be a difference.
Other than that, it purrs like a kitten going down the road. A carb sure makes a diff.

3. The handle bars are off a little to the right. I loosened the 4 bolts on the front end, (two on both sides) and tried to straighten them out, but I couldn't aline the handle bars with the front tire. Nothing moved. What else do I need to loosen?

#1 is how I have mine setup as well grabs at 2300 and moves out smarlty at around 2500-2600 rpms.

#2 As long as your rpms do not DROP dramatically going up a hill ONLY your mph your good.

#3 What you loosened from the picture looks like the Shock holders on the "T". That will not align your handlebars. You need to loosen the top where the handle bars are attached to and maybe where the handlbar holder attaches to the "T" . Look at it as if it where a bicycle handlebar and how they are attached.

Just got back. I put the Wife on the back and rode around the block, it's about 10 or 12 miles. Up and down the hollers, this darn thing does pretty good, it surprised me. It is SMOOTH. I can see if I don't watch the speed, I'll get a ticket on these back roads. The mph on the back roads are 30 and 35 mph. It don't feel like we are going that fast.
I decided "I like this trike"!!

I under what you said about the handle bars, I'll try that tomorrow.
