But the gentleman wasn't asking for 'custom' work nor am I. I to traveled far for such 'custom' work on my VWs. Great then you two can get by, by going to the lawn mower shop.

jethro9, I hope you find my suggestions helpful. I have personally been in Metro Cycle in Neenah and can say they are very professional and sell Kymco. I haven't been to the one in Green Bay but have been told they are also on high quality and sells TGB both those are quality Taiwanese scooters. The second two I haven't been to or heard anything about. Scooters do seem to be a sideline for them but they to sell and service TGB. Hope you can find a good shop before spring.

Thanks Alley for the kind words.
I also do phone or email support at no charge, even if you didn't buy the machine from me.

I also respect that you come here and get involved giving help. As stated earlier you are on my list to consider when time comes to order a new ride.

Yep, hard to find good mechanics and more so for scooters and or small engines. The money is just not there, also mechanics for the new cars most shops cannot afford the new equipment needed to diagnose the problems some depending on what is wrong will tell you to go to a dealer.
I needed a Rear Shock on my 2001 STS and nobody could do it because it was the leveling type and they did not have the equipment so I had to take it to the caddy dealer. 2K later I had 2 new rear shocks cause they would not just change one..LOL Alleyoop

I'm surprised to hear Metro isn't doing repairs anymore. I go past there often but have noticed they have had fewer and fewer bikes/scooters on display lately. Another place I have been in and go by occasionally in Menasha is;
truckinamericawi.net/
They do seem to have a liking for triked motorcycles and scooters more so than truck accessories. I can't vouch for there quality but they are still in business as of two weeks ago.
Sorry, they don't fix lawnmowers.
